Tân Annwn is a creative dance band adapting tunes from the Welsh and Breton traditions on pipes, harp, fiddle, flutes, mandola, concertina and drum to become driving grooves for called social/barn dancing. Calling is in English and Welsh. All ages and experience welcomed on the dance floor!
Tân Annwn (Light of the Spiritworld) : a spirit light that offers a way to good, to gifts, to the otherworld or towards mischief.
Tân Annwn is Peni Ediker (pipes, flutes, whistles), Stef Balesi (mandola, pipes, drum, concertina), Elsa Davies (fiddle), Jonathan Shorland (pipes, oboe, flutes) & Ceri Owen-Jones (harp, caller).
Band dawns creadigol yw Tân Annwn sy’n addasu alawon o’r traddodiadau Cymreig a Llydewig ar bibau, telyn, ffidl, ffliwt, mandola, consertina a drwm i greu grooves ar gyfer dawnsfeydd cymdeithasol / twmpath dawns. Mae’r galw yn Gymraeg a Saesneg. Croeso i bob oed a phrofiad i’r llawr dawns!
