Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Fancy Dress Wheelbarrow Race (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”), all participants acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk: Participants understand and accept that the Event involves physical activity and the inherent risk of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, bruises, and other more serious injuries. All participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the Event.
2. Fitness and Health: Participants confirm that they are in good health and have no medical conditions that would prevent them from safely participating in the Event. It is the responsibility of each participant to seek medical advice if they have any concerns about their health prior to participation.
3. Supervision and Safety: Participants agree to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the Event organizers. Participants must wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity and ensure that their costumes do not pose a risk to themselves or others, the participant in the wheelbarrow must wear suitable protective helmet.
4. Liability Waiver: To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and discharge the Event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and any affiliated entities from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses incurred as a result of participation in the Event. This waiver extends to any claims arising from negligence or other acts or omissions of the released parties.
5. Photographs and Media: Participants grant the Event organisers the right to use any photographs, video recordings, or other media taken during the Event for promotional purposes, without compensation or prior approval.
6. Alcohol and Substance Use: The use of alcohol or illegal substances before or during the Event is strictly prohibited. Participants found under the influence will be disqualified and removed from the Event.
7. Compliance with Laws: Participants agree to comply with all local laws and regulations while participating in the Event.
8. Acknowledgment of Understanding: By participating in the Event, participants acknowledge that they have read and fully understand this disclaimer and agree to be bound by its terms. Participants confirm that they are voluntarily participating and that they understand the potential risks involved.
