Bagad is a Breton band, composed of bagpipes, bombards and drums. Together they will perform a collection of traditional Breton and Welsh music.
The Llandovery Sheep Festival was first created in 2010 and is a Community Interest Company run by a small group of local volunteers. It is a celebration of local producers and performers who showcase the very best of Wales and Carmarthenshire.
Llandovery has a historic association with Drovers and takes its name from the sheep farming that makes up a large part of our rural economy.
The event comprises Sheep, Wool, Food & Drink and Craft Marquees, live music, performing arts as well as a host of other attractions and activities.
Entry to the Sheep Festival is FREE.
The attractions and activities on site are also free of charge, with the exception of the Quiet Walks which need to be booked in advance (£5pp).

The Sheep Festival takes place in the centre of Llandovery.
Situated on the A40, 21 miles from Brecon, 12 miles from Llandeilo and 24 miles from Builth Wells.

The Sheep Festival occupies the main public car park in Llandovery but parking is available in the mart carpark (towards the back of the main car park). £3 per vehicle for the whole day (CASH ONLY).

Becca is a singer songwriter based in mid Wales who writes songs about love, life and the beautiful landscape of the Cambrian Mountains.
The Cardboard Box Thieves are a folk group from Builth Wells. They originally formed to play Welsh folk tunes. However all the songs they now perform are original.
Carreg las are a Border Morris dance side based in Abergwili, near Carmarthen. Border Morris is a type of dance originally from the Welsh/English border.
Chris Joyce is a musician who draws inspiration from a diverse array of artists, including Snow Patrol, Green Day, The Calling, and more.
The Mothers of Nature is a walkabout show, with a mixture of physical acrobatic movement, dance and moments of interactions with audience members.
Forest Fairy Theatre is a local company who perform family friendly, dance based original shows. They are inspired by their love of nature and their desire to protect it.
The Gallstone Cowboys are a new local band playing a mix of country music from old time legends like Hank Williams to Merle Haggard and George Jones, with a few original dogs thrown in.

The choir can trace its origins back to 1896 when Llandovery Male Voice Party won a local Eisteddfod in Defynnog. The current choir comprises over 50 members.
Rhiannon is a singer from Ffarmers. She intertwines storytelling with the new aspect of traditional folk songs. She writes from the point of view of a mother, a farmer and a Welshwoman.
We are Small Town Samba. We are a non-profit Samba band based in Llanwrtyd Wells. We started up two years ago after many requests following the New Year’s Samba in Llanwrtyd that we’ve always organised.

Tân Annwn is a creative dance band adapting tunes from the Welsh and Breton traditions on pipes, harp, fiddle, flutes, mandola, concertina and drum to become driving grooves for called social/barn dancing.
